“Don’t ever think being creative is a waste of time.

To inspire, spark creativity, and encourage you to reach outside of your comfort zone and try something new.

I’ve enjoyed making things and being creative since I as a child.  My grandma taught me how to crochet when I was about 8 years old. I could make grandma squares, and simple blankets.  I always found crochet to be very calming.  In school, I loved art class. Painting and soft pastels were my favorite to work with.

When my parents started their own craft business, I would spend hours watching my dad work with wood to build benches, storage chests, bookcases, shelves, and cutouts for my mom to paint.  My mom painted and made beautiful floral arrangements.

As I got older, married, and became a mom, my creative time became creative mom and son time.  Between Legos, Playdough, painting, and coloring, I loved showing my son all the different ways to express himself. I soon began making handmade soap.  Not only for me and my son’s sensitive skin, but to make a little extra income.

As he got older, and more independent, I started taking more time to get back into crochet and other crafts. That led to Twitch and multiple social media accounts, and now this blog. I hope you enjoy!
